I have nominated the great man himself James Ghaisham please make sure he gets the recognition he deserves, legend is an over used term in modern day football but he is one of the few who deserve the tag, was an honour to see him play

Still doing the business for AFC Mansfield as well + deserves his current success.

I went to watch AFC Mansfield v Maltby Main last night. Midway through the first half I was talking to our former club secretary about players from a higher level playing for AFC Mansfield and I mentioned that former Tiger, Jimmy G plays for AFC Mansfield. His reply was "he's not playing tonight is he", yes he was but such was his contribution our former secretary hadn't spotted him until I pointed out where he was on the pitch! He was eventually substituted.

 That must be cos he's now playing in the false number 10 role - they say you don't notice the best players!

Don't think you will find many Tigers fans argue with that! Scored about 300 goals (think it was 298) in around 8 seasons for us, including 58 in the 1994/95 season. He scored a few for Matlock as well after he left us.

Kenny was a guest of honour at one of our games earlier in the season.

Yeah. A good measure of his influence is that the last time Frickley got to the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup was with him in the team, and the last two seasons he's done the same with AFC Mansfield... if he ever wanted to drop down and return to Frickley tho I'm sure he'd be welcomed with open arms. :D

I think it's the genius of Jimmy combined with Rudy Funk most definitely knowing his managerial onions. (plus Mansfield have a bloke in a fluffy mascot outfit, which always helps in the cup)

Gav Allott also on there... If anyone has time to read the full lot and work out the other frickleyites, please add.
