Anyone know if and when Football Matters is returning to Made in Tyne & Wear????? It's my main weekly dose of home keeping up with the news. I wrote to Made in Tyne and Wear but got no reply - strange as when I had a query last year they responded immediately. So I sent an email to Mark and nothing back from him either... Anyone have a clue?

This was on Twitter last week:
Quote:
Football Matters is not returning this season but will be replaced by a new show starting this autumn on @MadeinTyneWear

Meanwhile, Mark Carruthers has started something called NE Football Podcast https://twitter.com/NEFPodcast

It's not going to be available on Made in Tyne and Wear anymore.
It will be available via a podcast. Shame as it was a good show with a good following.

Strange that MiTaW have 'axed' it (if that's the reason?) when it was being moved to a more prime-time slot. Big shame, really enjoyed the show.

Thanks for the info. Ah well they have lost a supporter, there is nothing else on the channel I'd want to watch.

All best to everyone and their teams this season.
