Well I can't say for sure as I was not there but 90% sure this was Sunderland fans coming along to rag the Heed supporters who they regard as mags. (Certainly Gateshead and North Shields appear to be as hated as Newcastle on the SMB forum.....some of / most of the posters on there are really rancid-brained....) Agree no place for this type of behaviour, the Chairman made that clear as well as walking to the Metro station with the visiting fans.

A nice friendly victory over a team from a higher division is always welcome, but counts not a lot.
South Shields 3 v 0 FC United of Manchester with 1193 crowd.

See Ossett Albion got spanked 6-1 by Harrogate Town U23's, can see Albion struggling this year, by the looks of some of the signings they have made (one of which has not played for 2 seasons) it looks like they are struggling for any quality, decent bet for bottom 2 IMHO

Decent performance from the Vikings today in a 4-0 win against Handsworth Parramore, still the odd bits to work on but loads of positives, squad looks competitive and a few more new faces today who did well, the number 7 today looked to have potential, well worth the trip up the M18 looking forward to the season now
