BLYTH 2 v 3 WALKER CENTRAL

Walker arrive at Blyth and after walking the pitch were very surprised this game was given the go ahead due to pitch being frozen in parts, but full credit to both sides where the lads realised conditions were not great and both played some decent football.Walker took the lead on 30 min then Blyth level it just before half time.10 mins into second half and we add 2 more to be 3-1 up,then with about 15 left Blyth get back to 3-2,a nervous end to the game for Walker with a never ending 7 min added time.A much needed 3 points

HARRABY 5 MURTON 1

Our first game since December 10th , so was pleased with that , although the scoreline has a 'Flattering ' look about it , a young , new look Murton side played really well , just lacking a 'Cutting Edge'.
First half we were ring rusty ,giving ball away lots ,but they couldn't capitalise . We opened the scoring when Murton saw our keeper make a great save & from the resulting corner , we broke clear to score .
Second half was even until last 20 when Murton tired as the pitch began cutting up , Balmer grabbing a 'Hat Trick' [ & still moaning at the Ref. ] plus Deano's [God as I call him  ] usual goal , but Murtons consolation by Bosford , a cute 20yd. chip , was probably the goal of the game . The pitch held up well , the game was played in a good spirit & the officials done well . I think Murton might surprise a few teams before the end of the season.
Good 'Banter' in the bar afterwards , Tom Torrance must love coming to Harraby . Every time he's here he backs a winner , 11/1 shot yesterday, so he got the 'Smiths' in    ,love the man & if Iknow Tom he'll have bought the 'Carry Out' for the Murton lads trip home too , am I right 'Caspa'.

Mike i think he got them in back at our club, not too sure as i was a bit tipsy by then..

On the game mike pretty much sums it up.. We arnt playing bad at all . Some sloppy defending is costing us big style ..
Harraby took there goals really well..

Just a note about the ref. I thought he was outstanding , talked to the players had some good banter. Tried to keep the game flowing,, he was getting assessed as well im sure he would hav got a high mark. Very good

Red House Farm 2 Harton & Westoe 2

Excellent game to play in and I would imagine good to watch. Both teams could've won it but the keepers pulled off a couple 'worldys' for either side. In the 2 games we've played each other there's been nothing between us at all so 2 draws is probably a fair reflection. I'm just pleased we don't have to play Harton again this season! Both the players and officials deserve praise yesterday as conditions weren't great but everyone just got on with it to produce an excellent game.

All the best to Harton for the rest of the season

I'd echo everything said here. End-to-end game with both teams appying their fair share of pressure.

Conditions not great and I was a little worried that we'd have that on our mind as the game kicked off but we started really well.

Best of luck to RHF for the remainder of the season and in their push for the title/promotion
