Remember Pooley well from his first spell with us - great engine, eye for goal and in my view an excellent acquisition.

Yeah remember him bombing down the wing and scoring a few, very pleased to see him back.

Was Liam O'Sullivan the lad who stood out last season for Stokesley against us in the semi-final of the North Riding Cup?

Not sure about O'Sullivan at all...think you might be thinking of Leon Poole who played at centre half that day against us - ironically the cousin of Jamie who had a stand-out game. Leon Poole is a terrific player - pretty sure he is at Norton and out for the whole seaon after a bad injury (unless I've dreamt that).

How old is O'Sullivan? Has he also signed from Consett?

Leon is a very good player I've seen him play many times.

No he was called Liam Rigg young full back not sure why he has changed his name think he will be about 21/22, he's played for Dunston and Stokesley but been at Cargo Fleet in Teesside league since Stokesley fall out at end of last season!

Cheers Andy. I guess that these two will be added to the squad to play Norton tomorrow night. Hope to see you there!

I think it's Jamie Poole, not Leon, who has signed for Guisborough (though Leon's a good player too). Great acquisition for Guisborough !

Liam O'Sullivan

Liam joined at the end of December from local football team Cargo Fleet although has had Northern League experience with Stokesley and Dunston UTS. Prior to joining Stokesley he played for Peterlee in the Northern Alliance. Has played at left back for Cargo Fleet and centre back for the other clubs. His motto is "Always quit while you're ahea

Jamie Poole

Transferred from Consett at the end of the year after spells at Seaham, Bedlington Terriers, Blyth and of course Guisborough Town a few years ago. A 24 years who plays on the left. Hiis goal for 2012 is to improve his Golf swing. It's his driving ambition

Poola is a good addition to ya team, always gives 100%, daft as a brush! He started last season so well for Consett and had trials at Gillingham, did preseason game for Darlington and ended up at Spenny but didnt get much of a look in. Hopefully he'll get back to his old ways with yourself!

I'm pretty sure he is mate. Not had much to sing about lately. Seen Poole a few times at Consett.Scored a few goals from a sort of wing back role.Does playing for Guisy mean less travelling for him?

Think he's a Stockton lad, but happy to be corrected. A journey of 20 mins or so from Guisborough, so I reckon it will be a lot less than to Consett. I believe he's a good friend of our manager Chris Hardy. Very pleased to see Jamie back at Guisborough. Another excellent left footer in the side.
