RA come back from four goals down to snatch point at Hebburn
Darlington RA produced the comeback of the season so far when they scored four times in the last 20 minutes to snatch a 4-4 draw at Hebburn last night in the STL Second Division.
The RA seemed to be down and out when Hebburn striker Liam McBryde completed his hat trick to put Hebburn into a 4-0 lead on 68 minutes.
But three minutes later, Hebburn keeper Dan Regan carried a Gavin Swankie long range effort over his own line, and on 76 minutes Steve Cheeseman pulled another goal back.
James Evison made it 4-3 on 84 minutes, and in the third minute of stoppage time, Jimmy Muir equalised. Darlington RA manager Nick Harrison said: "I asked for commitment and questioned the players after Saturday's first half when we lost at West Allotment. I think the answer is apparent, when we try to pass the ball, we are a different side."
Hebburn manager Paul Bennett was stunned. "Words fail me," he said.[/b]
