Good luck to Rinky and the boys tomorrow, Think they will after dig deep for this one and hope we can come out with a point at least. I will have to miss this one as i am in Blackpool tomorrow with the family. I think i might try and put the wife/kids on a donkey for about 5 hours, or lock them up in the tower whilst i sneek down to Chester,Put it this way, if i do get to the match i will be easy to spot. I will be the one with the "Kiss me quick, squeeze me slow" hat on. 8)

sounds like we did dig deep for a point, got some decent goals and a bit of good fortune for a change. A step in the right direction again, putting a stop to our recent slump. This November will be a big month for us, as imo there is a lot of winnable games. At least we have now played all the title contenders, ie. Chorley. FC Utd, Hednesford and todays opponents, we now need to focus on beating the teams around us. Let's hope we play to our potential now we have players getting back to fitness, and try to be consistent, if we can string 2 or 3 wins together we will shoot up the table. Well done on a hard fought point :)

Overall a good performance against a team with vast resources compared to ourselves, £12 to get in and 2,400 through the turnstiles. I hate to think what they pay their number ten but if they pay him on goals to shots their money is safe, absolutly dreadful.

Linc was top draw again, as was the rest of the defence, Billard did pull off one superb save towards the end and we rode our luck but got the point the performance deserved. Grayson and Ryan look like they will make a good combination if we can give the something to work off - good balls into them or in behind.

Still think we lack quality and or workrate in the wide midfield positions but thats not to much to moan about given Rinky is building a half decent team. Definitely did the right thing with Simpkins and fair play to him for seeing it that way, no point paying for a second choice centreback.

I don't know what people were watching but Frickley got their ass kicked on Saturday.

If it wasn't for Billard then Chester would have got about 7 or 8 goals.

But give credit to the lads, they never gave in and got a point. Well taken goal by Grayson too, rounding off the keeper.

Overall good day and night out in Chester.

UP THE BLUES!! :P

Billard is part of the team, he is picked to save shots. At the start I think most fans would be glad of a point. We've played the top 2 teams away this season and got draws at both. Chester had only dropped 1 point at home. I dare say if we had 2400 at £12 a time each home game we could pay more for players. If we could even average 400 at £8 it would help.

So we did get a bit of a ass kicking then didn't we? Your post has done nothing but justify my point.

Billard was really the only person that played well in my opinion. I dare say it was the best goalkeeping perfromace i've seen at non-league level.

The 1st half, apart from the pen, what chance did we have?

The 2nd half apart from our goal what other chance did we have? Maybe a header that went well over the bar and that was it.

But still i would have taken a point at the start of the day. Roll on Buxton on Tuseday.
