Two days to go and the anticipation has kicked in. Friendly results are a thing of the past and thoughts lead to saturdays important game. The big teams in the league look even stronger so where do town figure in the pecking order? For me, games against roofing, stokesley, marske etc are the big ones. points gained against the big guns will be a bonus so saturdays game is a good start for town. the fixture list has been kind, although a trip to spennymoor looms at the end of august. squad wise, town look stronger upfront and i liked the look of martin in the game i saw. defence and midfield seem to be the same as last season. so where will town finish?? 14th!

If we can keep this team together and have a bit more luck with injuries, I think we could suprise a few people and get a top half finish. If we can get more points than last season though we've improved so I'll be happy. Hopefully we can get a decent cup run in the Vase or FA Cup this year aswell so we can get a decent away day or two.
