Biggest gate of the season at the Deva today - 3,307. Glad we stopped Chorley from having the biggest home attendance.

Today was fab, tense, but a great finish to our home fixtures. Roll on Monday, we're within touching distance of that trophy now.

Funny that because I'm sure you predicted 2,900 odd on DC earlier :lol: :P

But yes, I do remember you saying we'd be looking at well over 3,000 and I was amazed to get what we did. I know it was the final game but because we couldn't actually win it today i thought we'd struggle to get more than 3,000. To see the Harry Mac and West Stand packed again was great. The roar for Simm's goal was incredible - a collective 'phew'.

Win at Fylde and we're champions. Maybe not mathematically (if Skem were to win) but they'd never make up that GD in one game.

Haha yeah that was after seeing that we had lots of tickets left for the Fylde game, I thought that the fair weather fans had given up...glad to be wrong though.

The Shayman got a good crowd themselves today by the looks, 2400 odd. Great to see the support is still there for both teams in spite of all the crap we've each faced in recent times.
