Marc Radmore confirmed to me earlier in the week that he will no longer representing the RA on a regular basis and has decided to hang up his boots due to persistent back problems.

I would personally like to thank Ragga for his efforts on and off the pitch, of course in years gone by, but from my point of view this season. He undertook work to the pitch in pre-season that would normally break a man! Then, as captain, he has led us and driven us forward to achieve our best start in the Northern League for a number of years.

On the pitch he has never stopped running, never stopped closing people down, never stopped running, demanded high standards from his teammates, never stopped running and is a fine example to the youngs lads of how to perform and look after yourself as a Northern league player. A classic box to box midfield player.

Once again, thanks Ragga, best wishes to you and your family in the future and have a rest mate!!

Nick

Well put Nick
Top man Ragga and as you said a great servent to the club. The work he has done in and around the ground is the reason why NL football can be played at Brinkburn Road. Laying paving slabs, relaying the pitch, the stands etc.
On the pitch he is an absolute General and I hope he gets himself back down to see us all throughout the season. I will have a bottle of Corona waiting for him at the end of the bar if he does. No doubt he will be there come the end of season do for a good day out with the lads.

Raggas 3rd retirement ? doubt it'll be his last !
2 games a week his body can no longer cope with, that much is obvious for a man of his years, along with a very physical job.
Hope Ragga does come and watch, top man ! Railway through and through

Ragga - an RA legend. Has given 100% every time he has turned out for the club.
