250 on general sale initially. Prior to game in the club, at the gate, refreshment bar and maybe a half-time lap, if we can get a volunteer and have any left come that time.

There's also appx. 40 of the Spenny ones on general sale too, as a back-issue, which we've had specially printed.

Attendance at friendlies have ranged from 91-285. Last season in the Wearside league the average was approaching 300 I think, including over 600 at the Shipowners Cup Final

I think there will be a good turn out. The publicity is going well, and the club are high profile around the town.
I think 300 ish. Especially if its nice weather :)

Thanks for your concern Young Skin, but we have a sales strategy in place which will see us sell all printed issues, rest assured.

We will have some on sale on the morning of the game for the early birds in the club. We have 3 sales points within the ground, and again in the club afterwards. We will also sell via our website if we are left with any issues. Don't forget, and as pointed out above (thanks for having my back guys!) but this town is riding on the crest of a wave. 285 for a friendly the other night, average of over 250 in the Wearside League last season no less, 600 for a cup final, and we actually had over 300 at our place for a Sunday league cup final in May where several of our players partook.

This is the town's first ever NL game, an historic occasion. Every man and is dog will want a copy. In fact, I'll go on record as saying we'll probably sell out on Saturday and take orders for additional copies!

We printed 100 for the Spenny friendly, they sold out 20 minutes BEFORE kick-off! 100 copies!!! We've been inundated for additional copies from people who missed out, hence the re-print.

Our 32-page, full colour, unique cover for every game, not just your average content publication really is something to behold. This isn't the first time you'll be hearing about it, trust me!

And a crowd of 300, on a day when Boro, Newcastle and Sunderland don't have a 3pm kick-off, I think will be somewhat disappointing. I hope somewhere closer to 400-500!

I know that I will be there early then to get a programme because like you said a historic occasion and a programme that will be worth getting. How much are they being sold for? (not that it matters beacause I will be getting one anyway)

Despite numerous calls (from our readers would you believe!?) for us to sell the programme at a premium befitting its content and finish, we are keeping it at £1 throughout the season. Awesome value.

Great crowd! Do you think you will be able to keep it up or will it get lower once the excitement of being in the Northern League wears off?

I'm not sure its the excitement of the northern league more the excitement of a team going places this is a new thing for the town and every one who attends knows they are witnessing a club being born i think we will average around the 250 mark over the season and this will stand us in great stead and help the club continue to progress.
in regards to the programme £1 is an absolute bargain having witnessed other programmes of the same level i'm amazed at how they are not making a loss on a full colour edition hats off to Paul and Martin for there work !
