Alsager Town are seeking fresh blood to take the club forward after a season of stabilization. It needs a Treasurer, General Secretary and 1st team matchday secretary and there are other roles to fill with the need of a program editor / matchday reporter so if there is anybody interested please contact Peter Clegg (Chairman) on 07976254188.

On a somber note i would just like to say if we dont recruit volunteers to fill the vacant rolls then the football would have to consider whether the local community wants a football club at this level and decide over the coming weeks as a matter of urgency what the future really does hold for football in the Town.

It seems ironic that i am replying to my own message but it does show that over the last 12 months with all the messages critisizing the club, how its run and the poor facilities that no one steps forward in trying to help put that right, are u all mouth and trousers ??? if not at least reply to the post or get ur bottom off your seat and do something positive in helping to save your football club????? its not going to save its self.
If you want me out and someone else in at the helm??? well good go for it cos all i care about is the footy club and i would be more than willing to work under a new chairperson if he or she would like to stick there heads above the parapit ready to get shot at so as the club can move forward again.
Please dont prove me right that you are all talk and no action who ever you are???????

Just a reminder

There is a meeting this Friday at 7pm in the club at Wood Park, where I hope there will be a lot of support from the people of Alsager.
Because although we do well on the pitch it's off the pitch where there doesn't seem to be any help, it is the same faces doing various tasks come on Alsager support your club or lose it.....
They need people to help to raise funds to replace that delapidated club house and changing rooms and get something in place that the people of ALSAGER can be proud of.
Sorry to be going on a bit but in my mind you don't want a football team
But you will support Alsager kids teams or is it that it is a good place to dump your kids for a bit of peace at home and when they get older there wont be anywhere in Alsager for your youngsters to play football.

I believe that the time of the meeting is actually 7:30 p.m., but the clubhouse will be opening early for those who get there by 7 o'clock, and there should be people there with whom to discuss any aspect of the club.
