With the weather hopefully turned good we return to action at Chester le street 730pm ko tomorrow having last played an home game against Heaton Stannington in an 1 -1 draw , Jordan Mellish finally returns after an extremely long 4 match ban ,Dean Martin also comes back after holidays

Dave Smith is injured and Max Kirkham is unavailable

The home game was a close fought 1 1 draw

After 5 mins Mick Watson had a shot just wide after surging into the box
However the Cestrians came closest to scoring when an lob from Michael Hepplewhite hit the top of the bar and was cleared after 10 mins , and minutes later an shot from Alex White was cleared off the line in an sustained period of home pressure
After 15 mins the dangerous Hepplewhite brought an good diving save out of Jak Wells , and on 17 mins Steve Graham hit a great shot off the far post to open the scoring somewhat against the run of play , 1-0 with the home side on top Hepplewhite again had an good shot saved by Wells on 30 mins . Just before the break from an Jak Wells free kick just inside the Jarrow half centre back Jordan Mellish headed wide of the home goal
