Bedlington Terriers Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of former Harrogate Town defender Richard Pell for the 2012/13 Northern League season.
Pell, 29, started of his career at Nottingham Forest, before spells with Lincoln City, Boston Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Blyth Spartans and Alfreton. In his time with Blyth, Pell faced off against Blackburn Rovers in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
In his two years with Harrogate Town, Pell made 51 appearances, scoring 7 goals in the Blue Square North division.
Bedlington Terriers beat many other Northern clubs to the prestigious signing, and are proud to welcome Richard to the playing staff. This signing shows the intent of the Terriers to compete at the top of the Northern League this season.

Honestly thats just embarrasing. At least when you have your own forum you'll be able to make sure nobody is disappointed about a player leaving!

If this is true, it's nice of the club to inform those running the long term 'official' forum of planned changes. I don't why they expect a new forum away from NLZ is going to attract more contributors when this was is so quiet now.

Just because certain people may have stepped away from their responsibilities (for their own personal and often non-footballing reason) in the past couple of years, should not mean that they don't care about the club, or do not deserve at least the minimum of courtesy when plans to existing arrangements are planned.

Unfortunately Dave that is the way it goes now. I only found out about it on Twitter when the clubs account posted that there was to be a new forum created on the website:

Quote:
Details of all Sponsorship Options available are due to be released on the website, along with a new forum and events page. Watch this space

Quote:
@BTFCOFficial we already have a forum on nonleaguezone

Quote:
At the request of club officials, we'll also be having one on the website

before you come on here slagging off club officials you should speak to the ONE official that has passed this and asked for it to be done. I know you have the Chairmans contact details symp, ask him.

Indeed I do TigerDave, however I have no inclination to chase around for answers, its not for me to do.

Where exactly have I slagged off any club officials?

Well i wonder why clubs should move on and get there own forums, when all you lot do is DELETE threads and BAN members.
There is more chance of a little Chinese man in Beijing Googling Human Rights and getting away with it then any member on this Forum saying anything you lot dont like.... Grow up and move on and stop blowing.... :D :D

I deleted the thread as mention and promotion of non NLZ forums is not allowed. People need to move on, its really not important. I'm quite happy to close this forum if required.

You and your pal brought it up in this forum in this thread and then stop other members talking about it, so come on put the dummy back in. you just make it up as you go along...

I don't know what has got into you recently Shaun, you seem ready to jump down throats. I know you and Michael have had spats but please leave me out of it.

You make a fair point re me bringing up the new forum elsewhere, I'd forgotten that already. Mea culpa. As stated, I am happy to remove this forum should the club request it, there is little interest in this one to begin with, never mind sharing with a new separate one which won't get any passing NLZ trade.

I have no interest in anyone who may have an agenda (not referring to yourself), I will be attending games to support the team as ever, hopefully the welcome will be as warm as ever for those who pay their money to watch.
