It would be great for him to come back, I think he was one of the best players the club had over the last few years. However, he left the club because he was not getting first team football and unless we start playing with two out and out strikers upfront (which I would prefer, but is unlikely) he would be stuck in the same situation as last time. I doubt Jennings is going to be dropped and I think Magowan would need a striker along side him with a bit of pace and guile (the Magowan-Iley partnership played to both of their strengths).

When I look at some of the chances we have had in games this season, it is difficult not to think that Danny Earl or Magowan would have put much more of them in the net. We do miss Danny Earl this season too.

Signed Jordan Marshall from Norton who linked up well today with Jennings up front and worked hard supporting the midfield. Looks a canny signing.

Regarding Bim, I've heard no news regarding a comeback to Synners, but he has supposedly been released by Dunston
