Sir Tom Cowie sadly passed away on Thursday. Sir Tom was a great man who for the last 15 years or so did a hell of a lot for Crook Town AFC.
If it wasnt for his help i dont think Crook Town would be here now. that alone i thank him for.
It was with a lot of Sir Toms help and financial backing that we were to secure the future of Crook Town AFC by securing the ground for the next 99 years.
At todays match with Horden there will be a minutes silence followed by a minutes applause for the great man.
Our condolonces go out to Sir Toms family.
