ive just seen keith and kennys comments on young tom on the other thread, ive got to admit i have to agree. tom is a great little player, and i love that bit of aggression he has, never ever shys out of a tackle. more so when he plays in the middle. just wondered what others think?

you were right foss about the new signings mate, some good ones there. the keeper wasnt tested yesterday though. i think he might be on tuesday.. :D is he the keeper who had a blinder against us against north shields?

CROOK TOWN - 5 TIMES NORTHERN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS :D

Watched him a few times when he played for boys clubs, very hungry and a wiliness to win, if he is going to play in the centre then he needs some one round him with a bit of height and composed, sometimes wonders a bit and leaves gaps, but i would defo have him in my team, just need to know how to use him effectively, different style of play crook yesterday much better than what i have seen in the past, no its early days, but looks very promising.

The boy is still learning his trade don't forget he is only 19 yrs old, from what I have seen of him he wins more headers than not, so massively disagree about his height being a disadvantage.Last season was his first season out of junior football,a great football future ahead of him I think anyway.Agree that he needs to curb his tounge though. Crook have did very well spotting him so young me thinks.

To give a bit of balance to the midfield. it would benefit Tom and others more, having someone taller round them, read my post again a bit more carefully this time, and you will see i never mentioned his height being a disadvantage, and never mentioned his heading capabilities, you are going on as tho i don't rate him, i do highly.

KENNY YOU ARE POSSIBLY RIGHT about the height issue but on the other hand the two of them were up against 3 in the middle of the park on saturday and i thought there work rate was 1st class it also means that we have to play it to feet through the nmiddle because of the lack of height in there.

Also once tom learns to play the easy pass instead of the hard one then we might just have a very good player on our hands its whether or not he is prepared to listen if he does then bingo if he doesnt then we may have problems.
but he has a great attirtude and wants to win at everything which is good.

still cant beat me at pool like
