what a game, this team of ours is going places, travelling through to shields yesterday we actually thought we were going to win, and its a long time since weve been thinking that. the lads were up for it too, they came straight out of the blocks and shields didnt know what hit them, their guys at the back couldnt handle dan and kokesy, it was only time before we scored, sure enough it came, a great penalty from kokesy.
we battered shields and how we didnt score again was a mystery, then sure enogh, first chance they get they score, right on half time as well, the second half shields came out the blocks the quicker, playing some good stuff now, and it was a shot that was going wide that was deflected into our net to put shields 2-1 up. now it was shields who were missing the chances, i dont think we would of come back from 3-1 down, but with this team anythings possible. we had the occasional chance but it looked like it was going to be one of those days, then another great penalty from kokesy gets us the point, which we certainly deserved on the day.
a great point in the end, well done lads...
