Following a most successful meeting this evening with the solicitors of Ward Hadaway in Newcastle, the draft copy of the share issue was presented in full and comprehensive content. It is proposed by Ward Hadaway that it is registered under the rules of the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1965 - 1978, and that it satisfies all aspects of the legal requirements of the Government Financial Services Agency. In so doing it potentially safeguards the future of the club as envisaged by the Supporters Association. It is intended now to proceed in the immediate future with its launch into the public domain to exploit and hopefully realise its full potential, to generate the additional funds required to purchase the outright ownership of a permanent home for the club.
