Shields give it their all last night and were desperately unlucky not to be in the next round.
Was gutted when Penrith pulled level and then went on to win after a good display against a Division 1 side.

All credit to Penrith who battled back.
Lots of positives again from last nights performance- just need to keep playing our good passing football.

Onwards and Upwards for Saturday.

Another sending off again last night-must be 7th or 8th this season.Shields are bottom of the fair play league for both divisions http://www.registrations.northernleague ... 20Play.htm - and will have some key players suspended. Are Shields over physical or have they been unlucky with decisions ?

Doesn't have to be attributed to being physical poor conduct is a reflection on the overall attitude of the management and not a record to be proud of ...no surprises Matty ....

compare to where Hebburn are in the FPL and second top of the Northern League 2 with two smashing lads managing the team . Davy Bell in particular stands for no nonsense a very good example and of course reflection on attitude. They always have a full squad to pick from (none of this Goalkeepers not turning up and a reserve goalkeeper. Wonder what the sponsors think who stumped up a £100 a time for this "Commmunity Club"?? This scheme also includes the Secret Shopper Scheme who observe the conduct of the sidelines including supporters and officials though it wouldnt be hard to identify in such a "huge " crowd. The Gazette might run a story..... I'm sure the local residents in Bents Ward will be raising their petition as we speak about Gypsies Green once they hear about what is proposed for their doorstep.................. Dont bank on an answer soon Matty-the roofer is too busy with his personal insults.....might just have to google "rogue traders....."
