Fantastic performance today by Shields. There were 11 men of the match for Shields. Could easily have been double figures. Every one in a Shields shirt played FOR THE TEAM not themselves

Good result-just a pity there's only a dozen or so poeple from Shields to witness it,as it's too far away and expensive for most supporters.

I have actually been at Jack Clark Park and Filtrona Park when there has
been less supporters for a match than there was at Peterlee today.
And if my memory serves me well neither of you two were there then.

Don't think so -I never missed a match at Jack Clark and there were never less than three figures, and the average at Filtrona was never 70, as it was at Peterlee,

Great performance, played as a team, fantastic movement and passing.
Thornaby just didn't know what hit them.
Finishing was excellent, it was a fantastic match to watch with Shields never easing off.

Made Thornaby look average which I am sure they are not. Could not even blame their keeper for any of goals as all were great finishes.

Cannot single any player out for MOM as was a total team performance.

Think Steve Graham gives us that bit extra in midfield alongside Barry and with Maitalnd coming on as sub after injury problem gives us more options.

Well Done lads.

Onwards and Upwards The Mariners.
