I see that there is a management vacancy at West Auckland
it could be a great opportunity for Matilda and Davina ( Laidlaw & Ord )
to put to use there vast knowledge of non league football, along with
there untold energy, drive and commitment could really be an asset to
the former world cup winners.

I am sure all Shields fans would give the West committee a wonderful
character reference for them both if they require one, although i am sure
there expertise is well known throughout the north east and beyond.

Does anyone else think they are the best candidates for the job. :)

one things sure the previous and current "managers" at Peterlee FC wont be entertained ...........wonder why that is? Having said that the disciplinary record might be just what west are looking for to follow on from the last retrobates

Are Shields any further forward in their new ground plans.Staggering that an area that big has nowhere for them to play.Must be hard to keep the enthusiasm going and equally surviving.

Dean best ask a clairvoyant the club say nothing "I know nothingggg" yes Faulty Towers just as is been ran for the last 8 years no further forward "hope to make an announcement soon" that was 2 years ago......still watiing....if they know something they dont say... a good source tells me they tried to get back to Filtrona but the owner isnt that daft !!! People have lost interest, whether it is because of the way they have been treated or because they cant see anything happening now or in the future. They may well get a ground from the council land being discussed and grants to do it up but you have to have more than that to be successful as you well know! One man makes the decisions about who's manager where the ground will be etc etc and that will be it for ever... stuck in the same league till oblivion

The last retrobates in what way are you meaning by that??? be careful what you say when you dont know the people that you are questioning.

Whatever grumblings you have with shields and the people that are running it dont bring another scenario into it with people you dont know from another club

Unbelievable!!!! The bloke Ord is now slagging West Aucklands previous manager off. I can't recall him attending any of West's games. I might be wrong though
