Living in Sheffield I find to very difficult to know who is at the club and which players have left (and why). I've just seen that Russ Courtney has gone. I thought he had a good game last week. Anyone know where he's gone? And Ross Davidson? I don't think all the comings and goings help the cause. In my opinion, Quinn made far too many unnecessary changes. Is Harrop still at the club? I was surprised he wasn't playing last week, although I have to say I thought the performance v Skem was terrific and I simply can't understand why DJ is getting abuse. Don't rise to it Danny. Some people are never happy.
If anyone could fill me in on squad movements I'd be very grateful. The club website isn't much help.

As far as I know: -

Russ Courtney has left and signed for Connah's Quay, (Si Everall's team).
Ross Davidson has also left the club after an incident after the Ashton game.
Max Harrop has been injured but is approaching fitness.

Also, we've signed defender Andy Pearson from FC United, and midfielder Andy Keogh from Mossley.

Hope this helps, if it's inaccurate then I apologise!

I went to Congleton v Abbey Hey yesterday and Ross Davidson came on as sub for Abbey Hey.

Thanks very much for the updates Dabber Lad - much appreciated.

The more I think about the second half v Skem, the more impressed I am by how we not only coped with the elements, but used them to our advantage and controlled the game so well. The free-kick that led to their late equaliser was a very poor decision, and I walked home feeling as though we had been cheated out of two precious points.
Steve Foster has proved an excellent acquisition. I have been very impressed with him. He rarely wastes possession, works hard to earn it, and is so aware of other players around him. He must be a joy to play alongside. Long may he remain a Dabber.

Whereabouts in Sheffield are you Sheffielddabber? I could be aka Sheffieldmightyfrickleyfan, I'm in S35 so if you ever fancy a lift to the Theatre of Screams just let me know.

That's very kind of you Mini Maureenio. I've been to The Theatre of Screams a few times recently - always enjoy it there. I'm in S1 - will definitely give you a shout next time. That would be great - thank you. Fingers crossed for a cracking game today. I don't know how we'll handle Allott - he always looks a right handful.
