Curzon had the lions share of control in the first half of this game.
Goals came thus:

1st goal - a free kick played in from the right by Birch - scramble with legs all going for the ball - Lundy got the touch.
2nd goal - clearly a training ground move. Free kick on the right by Birch - players came forward - ball to far post and Lundy headed back across the keeper.
3rd goal - Lundy put through and drove past the keeper.

Second half Salford better organised, they hit the bar and upright.

Jones taken off for Curzon with a groin strain. :(

Three games, nine points and still nothing from the Mighty Michael Norton!

And still not enough to get you to the summit. :D

Well, seeing as Curzon don't have the resources of Halifax,i think they're making a mighty good effort of it, and i believe they'll be up there when it matters, alongside Halifax. Championships aren't won over 3 games.

Chill out, only having a laugh (hence the :D). As a matter of fact i kinda like the fact that were not gettting it all our own way. If we are still unbeaten by the time yourselves, Bamber and Radcliffe have visited The Shay by the end of Octoner then i might start talking our chances up.

I am well aware of (and a big supporter) of the idea that money doesn't guarantee success, but for the record we have a playing staff as small (in numbers) as anybody's this season.
