Just thought i'd mention that FC Halifax Town are making another trip over to Mossley this pre-season (Tuesday 17th). Wonder if it had slipped by unnoticed as there is nothing on your fixtures list and it appeared on our fixtures list without any news article announcing it

http://www.halifaxafc.co.uk/fixtures-re ... ures-list/

Any idea what the price will be?

Lilywhites' website bloke "Wizard" is probably meditating and hasn't had time to post. It has been announced on Mossley's Twitter however

I see Halifax are playing Farsley.
Might come along and see some our ex players in action.

I had no idea this game had been arranged. We were due to play Newcastle Town on August 11th, but that game is now off because Newcastle have a home friendly with Stoke City I believe. Will look forward to another game with the mighty Shaymen for sure.

I think you've already had your revenge for that game, with a 5-1 pre-season friendly win at our place last July I believe it was?

That was just for starters though Daz. We have to annihilate the pain of it and make you pay for the stain on our records.

As long as quite a few of your fans make the journey over the Pennines into gods country (Lancashire) I am sure we'll be happy.

I wouldn't expect many more than a hundred or so with it being a Tuesday night and with 7 other pre-season friendlies to choose from. Think i'll see what the weather will be like before i make a decision.

Let's hope it's a good night, and if that's the case we may well see a few more than 100 come to watch what should be a decent pre-season friendly.

I meant a hundred or so from us. Maybe 150 tops.

Our fans have always been indifferent towards pre-season friendlies. We have two decent home ones lined up against Bolton and Blackburn but i wouldn't expect many more than 600-700 to turn up.

Yes I did understand what you were saying, I just didn't put that very well. It would help if we could see an end to this constant rain.

Let's hope that Mossley put out an experienced team so that any gloating over any Halifax first ever away victory v Mossley (probs wrong there cos I can't recall cups) is not hollow.

Think we should resign Mike Fish , anyone got his number?

He can be contacted at the retirement home for failed weathermen. Send out the best you have Trimmy, we're going to rain on your parade and other weather related cliches, just don't torture us with any more amateur tenors mangling opera at us this time, or if you do don't tell us about it beforehand or you'll knock a hundred off the gate. It's gonna be......emotional.

"Amateur tenors mangling opera at us this time" How dare you? I thought that was a fine performance of great musical talent at it's very best. What about a brass band to make you all feel at home this time?
