Personally I had no problem with either Halifax or Chester being placed in our Division. In fact I more than welcomed the extra income and interest that was generated as well as thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to visit two ex football league grounds. If Darlington are placed in our division I will be equally welcoming. Just a bit miffed that they won't be playing at their own ex football league ground though. The argument that these 'big' clubs are guaranteed to take either the automatic promotion place or a play off place doesn't really wash with me either. I mean Curzon Ashton, Skelmersdale United and Lancaster City have been regular occupants of the play off places in recent seasons but I don't hear anyone complaining about them monopolising the top positions. At the end of the day if you want to get promoted you have to beat the best there is and if that means an ex football league club - then so be it.

With the recent appointment of Darren Sheridan as Salford City manager I for one hope that we can achieve just half of what Barrow did when Shez was in charge. Roll on next season and a big welcome to all the new clubs in our division next season.

Maybe you could get your financial house and ground in order before you start saying Darlington are the biggest club in the league and gaining six points from everyone. My team Northwich will play at the lowest level in their history if we start next season, but I don't think we even deserve to be in this league.

The Evo-Stik made a decision to place us in the NWCL and the FA didn't even the back bone to back it because they didn't want to be held responsible for 'killing' another club. We will be playing in Stafford on gates of 100, so am I expecting us to be near the top of this league, no! Teams are in the league they are in on merit, you are at this level because you have been financially mismanaged and there's plenty of friendly, respectable, well ran clubs that deserve a hell of a lot more respect than you are giving them. A big reality check is in order for you.

Haha I know I sound obsessed with the goings on at Northwich and clubs being well ran, but it just makes my blood boil that fans such as Quarkerz have the attitude they have. There are still some that exist amongst Northwich who think we are the most amazing club ever and so much better than everyone else. Theu are all living on past glories.

To be fair to Quakerz he did say his post was tongue in cheek and he was looking forward to spending time with real supporters. As for league positions well we'll see won't we?
