So it looks like the north division is going to get Darlington & Northwich
I suggest the other 20 clubs field their youth teams next season and save their budget
for a FAIR crack at the 2013/14 title

So that means yet another season where Curzon won't get promoted then?

Mid table is just fine when we don't have anywhere near the budget you've got, and despite all your spending over the last few years you're still in exactly the same place as we are. Good work there.  To return to the subject though, why do you say we've been shafted? The FA have to allocate clubs somewhere, and the games against Darlington and Northwich will be good for the bank balance I would think?

Sorry Daz, but I personally dont care about ONE big payday a season, I want my club to have a chance of success and for the last 5 seasons our title has been bought.
I dont blame any of those clubs for using their buying power, Curzon & Mossley would do exactly the same if they could. Its just the knowledge that at the start of next season the other 20 clubs will be at a massive disadvantage & essentially playing for 3 play-off places.
I was already (nievely) looking forward to a good evenly contested championship challenge next season ....... maybe we should create a trophy to present to the 3rd placed team and call it the REAL champions trophy

I know where you're coming from, BUT Curzon have had plenty of chances of going up via the play offs so you can't really complain too much can you? Like I said the clubs have to be placed somewhere, and it's not the fault of their fans that thay end up where they do for various reasons is it? It's frustrating, but that's the way it is.

maybe Vics will be put in the south div. and Darlo make the same mistake Halifax did in their
first season I.E. ... "we`ll pi$$ this tin pot league"

Roll on August ..(wishing my life away)

PS didnt Mr Lowe do well with Hyde ....... I personally liked him but he wasnt everyones cup of tea

Yes just have to wait and see how it works out. Mr Lowe did do well with Hyde, didn't think he would get away with refereeing the games like he did in the Evo-Stick but seems like he must have.

It was actually the season before last, time flies when you're having fun.

I came up On the train for that one, really early start. Then back here next day...... Was this the same year as Brackley in the Trophy?

No Brackley in the Trophy was a bit before that, Chris Wilcock and John Flanagan were at Seel Park when we played them.

Such a shame, but we know what our league's like! They can't resist such a sweet payday.

I'd rather a level playing field than a big payday any day of the week.

The 'big payday' thing is a bit of a red herring. If a club like Chester or FCUM bring a greatly increased attendance to your club then they bring it to all the other clubs as well so there is no competitive advantage to be had. Indeed, with the costs of running a professional club a this level on and off the pitch I'd say the monies received for one match wouldn't have much impact.

The clubs concerned have to be placed somewhere, and it's the FA who decide where they are placed. I don't honestly see it as such a big problem, although of course you could argue that the relevant clubs should be placed lower in the pyramid.
