Agreed Bambi. A few people on this thread are obviously enjoying what's happening to woodley but I'm certainly not one of them. Don't like seeing this with any team and hope woodley can bounce back

Had an ounce of sympathy for Woodley until today.
Their no.7 (Maylett?) was sent off for spitting in the face of a Clitheroe fan whilst celebrating their winning goal. Unfortunately the fan involved decided to jump over the fence and tried to have a go back. The police were called and are investigating the incident.
In no way am I condoning the fan's actions but if I was spat in the face, I wouldn't have been very happy either.
I don't know why the Woodley players needed to goad the Clitheroe fans, as there hadn't been any nastiness before-hand. :x

Pretty sure this isn't the first spitting incident in the league this season either. Didn't hear of any in the many seasons before!

Disgusting.

Going back to the grading, Im thinking about Marlow FC and Fleet Town who have finished 22nd and 21st in the Southern League Division 1 Midland.

Does anyone know how they could be affected?

Well I am only guessing as to what will happen in the Evo-Stick Division 1 North, and my guess is that they will relegate the bottom club but the second from bottom will be given a reprieve. Woodley Sports will then count as one of the 2 relegated clubs I think? Hard to even be certain on that one without even thinking about anywhere else.

I t would be better if Woodley were relegated and Marlow reprieved as Marlow is a good away day and they serve nice chips

it seems there was an incident at the end of the Ossett Town v Curzon Ashton match a few weeks ago, someone from Curzon came on here shortly afterwards making threatening remarks about the unnamed Ossett player. Guess where Ossett Town are playing on Monday night?

No such threatening remarks were made. I simply said that if the player had any sense he wouldn't turn up because Woody might seek revenge.
If one of our players spat in an opponents face I would hope that he is shipped out of the club so fast he wouldn't have time to get changed!!
Perhaps you condone his actions and spitting is ok with you?
