Friday 29th April 2011
First Division North
Clitheroe vs Leigh Genesis 15:00
Garforth Town vs Chester 15:00
Harrogate Railway Athletic vs Cammell Laird 15:00
Lancaster City vs Mossley 15:00
Prescot Cables vs Bamber Bridge 15:00
Radcliffe Borough vs Warrington Town 15:00
Salford City vs Chorley 15:00
Skelmersdale United vs Ossett Albion 15:00
Trafford vs Woodley Sports 15:00
Wakefield vs Curzon Ashton 15:00
Witton Albion vs Durham City 15:00

So the last round of league fixtures await us, a Leigh win away to Clitheroe will save them from bottom spot unless Ossett can cause the upset of the season at Skem! 2 away games for Curzon and Chorley to decide 3rd and 4th spot. And last but not least Chester away to Garforth and Skem at home to Ossett.

It's going to be a long week! :?

It's odd isn't it, on Monday I said that as long as we matched Skem's result we'd be Champions. As it turned out we did, in style, and yet today I still found myself sat in work stewing over what could go wrong!

How many do you think we'll take then mate on Sat? It's a bit of a trek but I think 1,600 odd Blues wouldn't be a bad guess. We took five coaches to Fylde yesterday and there I was thinking what a good showing it had been - only to pass about 12 Cardiff coaches leaving Deepdale!

Still, it was great going in to work today chatting about two massive results and two good followings over the bank holiday period. Just need to avoid doing anything silly on Friday.

All this promotion and relegation stuff is all well and good, but give me mid table mediocrity anytime.

We came off the M55 and went past Deepdale, there were 24 coaches of Cardiff to say nothing of those who travelled seperately! I now know why Lancs police left us alone yesterday as the horse wagon was behind us coming out of Preston!

As for Friday it's hard to guess, but I would go for 1500-1750 with 50% of those in attendance being hammered before kick off. It's going to be a mad day that's for sure.

I'm glad the police left you lot alone yesterday, they seemed to all be at Bamber Bridge!

After our walk there, we wasn't in the mood for causing trouble. We was quiet for a change. ;)

More hooligans supporting Brig than Chorley yesterday. It was all 5 of them who jumped onto the pitch after they opened the scoring!

I may be underestimating my crowd guess Bambi, 9 coaches booked and more lined up ready to go! Blackburn in the FA Cup mark II?

I wish we only had 5 hooligans from Bamber Bridge when they came back in November - we had around 70 of them and had to arrange for police to escort them back onto their double-decker bus after the game. I think it's safe to say they weren't Bamber Bridge fans though, just a day out I think.

Nine coaches now? That's fantastic, good job we've got a big car park then! I find the coaches normally account for a quarter of the overall following so yeah we could well be looking at close to 2,000 tomorrow. Imagine if we were down the road at Witton!
