South Shields home to Bridlington Town live on BBC digital this Saturday 19/08/17. The Numpties from BBC think we are still in the Northern League! Good opportunity for rival teams to see what we are about.

I am frantic !!! trying to find a way to hack (sorry) access) the system as we can;t get BBC video or streaming here in the US (not on the BBC site or iPlayer anyway. I managed to get the Vase final but can;t remember how.....

Anyway FABULOUS first home game of season tonight and 1776 crowd on a Tuesday night. Mind you it looked a pleasant evening to be out.

BBC don't still know the difference between the NL and the NPL anyway...

Mariners Park is a bit of a fortress. No home defeat since last November. Still, it's a record that will go sometime, but for now we must at least be joint top.

And don't forget to set your alarm Steve as it's been brought forward to a 12:30 kick off. Hopefully we will be firing on all cylinders. Just wondering if Julio and Gavin will be back to strengthen things.

Cheers. I am told that unlike most games the live feed will be available outside the UK so alarm set for 6.30 a.m. and fingers crossed otherwise it will be a job to avoid hearing the result before catching it later....

Billericay v Didcot 1230pm 2nd September for the next FA Cup game. I'll enjoy watching that. It just makes you realise what a farce the greed of the premier league really is. Anyway, home to Bamber Bridge tomorrow, and away to Scarborough Athletic on Monday. A good weekend.
