Being a South Shields supporter, I was looking at the mileage/travelling time we will have this coming season.
21 away league games with a total round journey of 5546 miles and 97.38 travelling time.
Nearest game (Scarborough Athletic) 176.2 miles with 3.12 travelling.
Furthest game (Colwyn Bay) 436 miles with 7.14 travelling.

A lot of distance, but really looking forward to it.
I know it has, in the past, been used as a reason for Northern League teams not "moving up," but to move up is surely the way forward.
Good luck to all teams, and looking forward to seeing new places and fans.

Nice to see at least we are getting people talking on the Forum! Just a really light hearted look at times and distances. Funny, I used AA Route Finder, from postcode address to postcode address. I'm not a mileage/time expert, but it just gives a simple overview of things. It could have been worse, it might have been Alnwick!!!

The Vikings bounce back with a 3-1 victory at Selby fighting back from a goal down to gain a comfortable victory in the end, still plenty to work on before the big KO but lots of positives too and a few of the younger players really impressive 2nd half, squad defo developing nicely at the moment

Maybe slightly further mileage but I think Tadcaster would be a lot nearer to South Shields time wise

Anyone who comments on a forum in general has had 8 pints before doing so according to the frickley manager/chairman (I will say /chairman cos I know it winds them up!!! Lol) they have there own forum but they have lost the star contributor, Goole all the way for me now Sandman looking forward to Handsworth at the VPG Saturday up the vikings

Eh? Don't think I have pal?

And you reckon if I did want to do that I would just use a different email?

Edit: I have sent you a PM it's someone trying to cause trouble which was the reason I came off the frickley forum in the first place

The Dingbat will not be silenced
