Crowd trouble at a pre season friendly, pathetic, doesn't send out a good message for the season ahead

Well I can't say for sure as I was not there but 90% sure this was Sunderland fans coming along to rag the Heed supporters who they regard as mags. (Certainly Gateshead and North Shields appear to be as hated as Newcastle on the SMB forum.....some of / most of the posters on there are really rancid-brained....) Agree no place for this type of behaviour, the Chairman made that clear as well as walking to the Metro station with the visiting fans.

Next up for Goole afc is a short journey to Selby fc, for the annual Eric Lawton cup, kick off 3 pm , back to winning ways and a bit more organised at the back, I'm hoping, looking forward to the new evo north div 1 season, new grounds to visit. Over to you Bat

A nice friendly victory over a team from a higher division is always welcome, but counts not a lot.
South Shields 3 v 0 FC United of Manchester with 1193 crowd.
