I don,t think Mr Arca is on the same deal now I.e cut of the crowd etc still on a fair whack but think the deal was " modified" last season

Where've frickley got that type of money from?after years of struggles they go down and find a backer?still nothing compared to Shields paying Julio arca 500 a week and 50 per cent gate receipts.raking it in he is....still it has worked a treat for them now getting way over 1000 a game in

SSFC showed credentials today with fine 3-0 win over FCUM (and no Arca in the lineup I think he's on hol)

interesting to see the NLP today has a pre-season round up, in the south division there are 12 teams mentioned as possible teams to watch out for, but no mention of frickley, so looks like we will have to go under the radar to go up.

Non league yorkshire is the official Frickley news outlet now no need for any coverage from elsewhere

I reckon Shields will be promoted, the squad is very strong on paper and they seem to have the team spirit to match. Sounds like they gave us a decent game on Saturday.

Well, it's nice to see we've set our stall out at South Shields. A fine, but nervy game against Bamber Bridge. A good team with a difficult defence to break down. 2 points clear at the top, with Scarborough Athletic in 2nd who we just happen to visit on Bank Holiday Monday! 1508 crowd today. Should be a good test at Scarborough. Good support going down.

Well a nice 3-1 win at Scarborough. 500 travelling support in a crowd of over 1600. A great day out with the right result. Setting our stall out. Somebody going to beat us sometime. Unbeaten, and only one draw, since last November. a record to be proud of. How are other teams doing? Don't be shy.

Ah well, Witton Albion away tomorrow in the FA Cup. Going in as underdogs. Ground segregation imposed by the home team. That's something pretty new to us. Are they a mad lot? I thought the trend these days was more integration. Not a spot of bother at Scarborough the other day with a good sized crowd. Hey ho.

Nice 2:0 win for the "underdogs," without firing on all cylinders. Rock on, Ossett Albion at home Tuesday. What is it, 44 wins and 1 draw in last 45 games?

Yip.(Excluding friendlies : Sunderland U23). Mind you if Blunderland had sent their first team we'd have trounced them!

Darlington away 2nd round. That should be a good test of our credentials. By the time we play them, we will be unbeaten away in over a year, provided we beat Colwyn Bay this Saturday. Cracking draw and not too far to travel. Should be a good crowd as they are pulling in between 1500-2000 so it should be a good day out.

This is a big step up and I wish SS well but I,m surprised yous can get 90 mins out of Patta as Blyth couldn't as he was blowing after an hour for us. Nicholson /Richardson and Morse were good for us though and it,ll be a hard game .

A strong squad, and as tonights side shows, they are well rotated. The joint management team train them hard! Hope to be in the same league as Blyth in the not to distant future!

A 3:1 win over Ossett Albion tonight keeps us going nicely at the top of the league. It's the "long one" on Saturday away to Colwyn Bay. Probably at least 4 and a half hour journey. (This North is a big place!)
