Warrington Town busy putting points on the board while Vics lose their manager. Interesting few weeks ahead at the top of the league to see how Vics react to the first bit of pressure this season.

Apparently the Vics have just brought in Adam Lakeland as Gannon's successor. Lakeland was assistant to John Flanagan at Curzon Ashton, so it'll be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure of being manager, and in particular at a club like Vics, where Gannon's work will have led to certain expectations among fans.

Gannon's been back at his old club and picked up the Vics skipper: Michael Clarke has signed on for Stockport County.
Clarke was out of the side towards the end of the season, I assume he had been injured and could not get back in due to the fine form of Matty Regan, who partnered Andrew Watson at centre half in the final few matches. Do you Vics fans reckon more could follow? Or will you be able to keep on to fine footballers such as Brian Summerskill and Iain Howard, as well as leading scorer Richie Bennett?

Think Richie Bennett has joined Barrow.

Whilst full back Scott Duxbury's just followed suit across to the Hatters to rejoin with his former boss. That's three players having left already from what was a very, very good team.

As people will know, yet another followed suit from the Vics up to Stockport: Josh Amis, the big centre forward. And so perhaps a few Northwich supporters could've found last night's pre-season friendly between County and Barrow somewhat interesting, with five players who featured until New Year at Northwich in full-back Scott Duxbury, centre back Michael Clarke and Amis at Stockport, with Richie Bennett and Jordan Williams playing from kick-off for the visitors, who won 1-0.

I admit I thought it was odd to see Bennett benched to make room for Josh Amis when I took in the 3-0 win at home to Kendal early April. Amis at times looked out of his depth even in that match, so to me it was a big surprise to see that Gannon had brought him to Stockport. What impression were you Vics fans left with regarding Josh Amis?
