So budget cuts are to be expected if gates don't improve.

Might I suggest that gates would possibly be considerably higher if they were not charging one of the highest admission prices below Conference North/South standard football.

They charge £3.50 more than New Mills and £3 more than current Division 1 South leaders, Coalville Town, for normal adult admission. That is over half as much again in our case and a little less than that in the case of Coalville. Making a rod for your own back springs to mind.

I notice, however, that they did actually manage to exceed their 700 target today. The 9 may well have been Romulus supporters.

Should I find myself in that part of the world (as I was last week, in fact) and looking for a game, then I'm afraid Kings Lyn can go and do one. There's no excuse for talk the p1ss like that and I refuse to pay this sort if fee just because a club is greedy. I'd rather drop a division or two and give my money to some club with a bit more respect for its customers.

Ten quid.

Evo-Stik Division 1 South.

They could be cheaper than Darlington though. I haven't checked.

EDIT: I have checked now and they are two quid dearer than Darlo.

Ten quid?

We charge £8 to stand and £10 to sit.

Most Northern League clubs charge £5, with a few charging £6.
