City 4 - 1 Garforth

We made hard work of it in the first half conceding after 90 seconds with most of our defence still dozing in the afternoon sunshine. Had two defenders injured in the first half which didn't help. Second half with a formation change we were unlucky to only score 4. Our on-loan striker Branco is immense.

How did everyone else do? Some great FA Cup scores knocking around!

Another win for us, this time 2-1 at Radcliffe Borough. I am quite enjoying being top of the league.

Top of the league and four points clear! I know it's early days but what's made the difference do you think mate?

We're just playing as a team, and the team spirit seems to be fantastic. In quite a few of the games we should have scored more goals than we have, and our play has deserved that at times. Still very early days yet though, and we've played more games than anyone else. Let's just see where we can take this. :D

Yes - Adam Mather.

It's like starting with 14 players in your side.

He's a good player, but that's going slightly overboard.

Can't say fairer than that mate, it's been great to see you make such a useful start.

Thanks mate, good to see Chester doing so well too. I can't believe we'll even be in the play offs at the end of the season, but who knows?

Cheers Daz, yes it's been a much better start than anyone was expecting - especially after the pre-season! Like yourselves we're in a good position, it's a long old season though isn't it...

I am pleased to see you're doing well anyway, and yes there#s a long way to go yet. A play off place would be great for us, but not sure we'll manage it.
