Speculation that Lancaster are planning on giving manager Tony Hesketh the boot already?

A bit of background on this...Tony Hesketh had a hip operation in July and therefore a temporary manager has been in place since then, one of the reasons we've had such a poor start.

But now TH is ready to return, his sacking is pretty mind boggling. LCFC are releasing a statement tomorrow, not sure if it'll calm down the anger in our fanbase before Saturday's game!

May I ask where your allegiance lies? Because I very much doubt the team that has the privilege of your support, will ever have the privilege of ours.

I'm baffled by this. I believe TH took leave for an operation and since his absence, the results have deteriorated. If I were the board, I'd have been counting the days for his return. Baffling.

On another note, I think it's stupid for Lancaster City "fans" to state that they will no longer support the club following his sacking. It shows their plastic side!

I'll still be going have to agree with the withdrawal of support bit strange as for plastic fans the phrase people in glass houses Kirkham rings a bit true in the case of AFC Fylde as well

TH has had his chance and what's he achieved? And as for fans not going on because he's been sacked, that is just pathetic and shows you how fickle some fans are

All fans are fickle, what have we won, finished 2nd to Halifax with 96 points, won a trophy all on a reduced budget, finished twice just out side the play offs, not bad for a team that last season was playing for £28 per match.
This season we have lost Fearon, Hattersley, Kenyon, Meaney, Dodgson, Duggan also without Rob Henry who has had an emergency operation, so 7 players gone from last season, of those 7, four have gone onto play in a higher league, three have gone to Stockport.
Unlike some sides who seem to have a bottomless money pit, produce our own players who go onto better themselves in higher leagues. We may not win many titles but we play non league football and do not try to buy our way through the leagues.[

FF1 speaking from his lofty cash stocked towers. I would say Lancaster Achievements over the last few seasons far outweigh Fyldes given the available resources. My Gran could win the league with a budget of that size!

PS I support niether club but have no axe to grind either!

finished twice just outside the playoffs, wow. he's had enough time to get you out of this league and he hasn't. I've watched lancaster against us a few times and they always gave us a good game on a very small budget, TH obviously couldn't get them playing well consistently. Time to move on
