Due to Northwich Victoria's current plight I found myself making the 5 minute journey to watch Warrington Town v Trafford. It was so refreshing to go and watch a football game without worrying about what is going on off the pitch.

Warrington took an early lead after a very good move and could've easily been 2 or 3 up at half time, but some good saves kept it at 1-0. I'd say that Warrington were the better team in the first half and Trafford never seemed to get a sniff.Trafford pulled it back in the second half and were on top for the majority of the time. Trafford's equaliser was a long time coming.

The game finished 1-1 which is a fair result. I enjoyed my visit and Warrington played some very nice football - I'll definitely be back at Cantilever Park this season!

Wakefield 0 Ossett Town 3

Ossett took an early lead and were the better side throughout. For a time in the second half however they seemed to be making hard work of things but two substitutions around the hour mark helped them to two more goals.

Wakefield played some good passing football at times but difficult to see where the goals will come from.

I enjoyed the trip to Wakefield today , also with myself being a ( lapsed ) Wakefield Trinity fan it was good to see the old ground again , back to topic , it was a decent game , Ossett had the better of the game and looked a promising team , Wakefield had a good spell 2nd half but didn't manage to score , but credit to them they kept going , there was a decent crowd there , so hopefully the move to the new ground will pay off . There were a few familiar faces with Garforth connections there both on and off the field .It was good to see them all again .

I went to Ramsbottom, impressed with the home side however Brigg Town were poor, nice little ground was also impressed by the pre match brew being served in a proper team mug.

Fantastic

Very please you enjoyed your visit to the Riverside. We played some lovely stuff on Monday and ordinarily i would have been delighted with a 3-0 FA Cup win but we missed a host of chances and was very dissappointed with Brigg who never looked like they wanted to be their.

I was at St Helen's Town to see them lose 5-0 against Stockport Sports.
