has sadly retired due to ongoing injuries. its a shame as i think he was one of the most talented players in the squad. if fit, him and arthur would have been good to watch on the left. best wishes richie.

Only found out about this on the way home from Consett today.

Absolutely gutted but can see the reasons why, picks up knocks that dont just niggle but put him out for 3 or 4 games at a time.

One of the best lads you will ever meet and im sure he'll still be about the club and the changing room.

A big space to fill in the showers............

Thanks for the kind messages. Cd I hope to get to a fair few games. I will definately miss playing and the atmosphere of the dressing room. There are some quality lads at the club including the management team and I hope/believe that the team can improve on the start to the season and hopefully get a good vase run.
