scrappy game today. dont think we got going until we were 2.0 down but we managed to create chances in the last 20 mins. aycliffe were well organised with wood catching tne eye and he ghosted in to head in their 2nd goal. mickey dunwell and craig norman got towns goals. thought the grass was a bit long as both sides struggled to pass the ball.

Grass wasnt exceptionaly long only maybe a couple of milly above norm this protects the surface and allows you to keep a good pitch all season.

A strange but entertaining game I thought. We failed to finish yous off when 2-0 then 3-1 up and paid the price by letting you back in the game.

Town players were "at" each other quite a bit, was strange to hear. Almost ended in a draw with Billingham hitting the woodwork, then again we hit it twice in injury time.

Good luck for rest of season.

Not sure what happened on Saturday, we just didn't seem to have the bite we've had recently except for 25 minutes of the 2nd half, and fell asleep at the back. No disrespect to Acliffe though, they were the better side on the day and deserved the win. :(
