Great atmosphere with the crowd close to 1,300. Feared the worst after 30 mins as darlo missed 3 clear chances. Owens scored from a cross and Reay squared it just before ht. With the wind behind us, we looked like we could take the lead again but cronesberry lost the ball and darlo went the other end to make it 2.1 and our chance had gone. Finished 3.2 but darlo could have scored more. O, brien was my motm with middleton not far behind. We passed the ball well at times and the lads can be proud of their efforts. Darlo will be top 5 but im not sure they will go up. No 8 brown was outstanding at centre back.

Thought we were very good today and certainly unlucky not to take something from the game! Yes darlo had chances but so did we! Feared the worst?? It was fairly even first half Owens had a couple of chances, butterworth shot which was saved and Dunwells free kick of the post! 1-1 fair at half time! 2nd half darlo struggled to get out of there half first 15mins we had one cleared off the line from a dunwell header and seemed to have come out stronger! Unfortunately a mistake cost us, but this happens and after that you do go chasing the game and lose shape a little! Got back to 3-2 and a bit of a scramble at the end we just didn't have the luck for it to fall to a blue shirt! Take this into the coming games and we should be ok! Thought everyone worked well and played well! Good team performance! Darlo good strong organised team and will be up there, good set of lads too!

I feared the worst because their was gaping holes at the back. I was behind the goal and darlos finishing was profligate at best. Yes, i agree we had chances but i felt darlo could score at any time. Certainly the wind was a factor at the start of the second half as long balls blew all over the place!! Yes, lots of positives but we never know what will come next.

There's truth in both reports. Darlo could have had a hatful, but equally Billingham Town could have taken a share of the spoils.

2nd goal was the killer. Mistake in midfield.

Enjoyed the game yesterday and a good atmosphere. Darlo could have had a few more if they had took some of their chances, but equally I thought we deserved a draw. If we can cut out the daft mistakes and tighten up a bit then the points will start coming. We desperately need to start getting those points though!
