Never thought it would be off tonight. Had a little bit of hail at lunch time but nothing since last night.

Or is there an issue with floodlights saw someone playing with them last tuesday afternoon and then that game was off as well?

there was a cherrypicker being unloaded outside the ground this morning while i was travelling to work. I guess it was for a job inside the ground, floodlights or the phone masts possibly; or maybe it was nothing to do with the club and it was for somewhere else nearby.

i can only guess there was a problem with the goalmouth at the bus station end. Because of the stand, the goal mouth doesn't get any sun, so there always tends to be problems there. Being below street level doesn't help and the well near the corner flag at the chicken hut corner of the ground has been a problem in the past.

i don't know how we far we have progessed with the design of the new ground, but i would hope the size and the position of the stands will be considered with regard to any potential effects on the pitch.
