Looks impressive yeltolad, but doesn't really count in the grand scheme of things - it's all about players being good enough to make the first team. Are there any potential gems at the minute?

What is it with Sunday's and yeltolad coming on here.

What Fiz was saying appears to be coming to fruition the people in charge of the first team weren't up to first team standard and had always managed reserves so that's where they should be. 3 great results for the new reserve management team, but like WW says reszy football is about development so results are not the be all and end all although yeltolad appears to have a different idea of things to the majority...... nothing new there then

Fact- Guiseley/Stocksbridge/Ossett Town will all start in the Unibond Prem next season with 0 points ( only difference is it will have cost Guiseley/Stocksbridge thousands £ more for the pleasure. ) hahaha

I bet Chester, Farsley Celtic and Northwich Victoria all wish they could have said the same in their respective divisions at the start of this campaign
However it appears that the recently replaced management team at Ingfield did their best to jeopardise the above fact? coming to fruition. Only time will tell

Fair point. Fixture congestion damaged Guiseley in 1999!

Can't believe Stocksbridge lost again. They were doing so well before Collins and Daley.

3 OUT OF POSS 12. (Not good blonderwoman )

Hahahahaha! Has my friend had another festive tipple too many?! Having just returned from the heated battle of a First Team game, where I again managed to evoke a hugely disproportionate amount of anger from the sizable following of local Bostonians for goodness knows what........"I'm innocent of all accusations, your honour!" I am delighted that Yeltolad has been waiting a full week and has been stewing over Christmas to reveal his somewhat empty head to make a ridiculous and rather irrelevant statement. If he cares to observe Stocksbridge's record, he may find that approximately half of the first team's games this season have indeed ended in defeat. Thus I am slightly lost as to why he 'can't believe it'. If one wishes, I can impart some of my superior knowledge, which has sustained me in never being asked to side-step a role and take a demotion with in a club because I need to be involved with a Unibond team in any capacity that I can, to help with the progressive Lancashire League campaign. Furthermore, if such an offer were to be made I would hastily decline as integrity is a treasured attribute in my valued opinion!

Regardless of anything my inferior friend ostensibly articulates, the fact of the matter remains: reserve team assistant managers need to pump up the balls and collect the bibs when their mate tells them to. Otherwise, one could always ship off to the West Riding County Amateur and become one's own man.

Regards

"Sweetheart, please pass the Rioja!" ;-)
