sad news, everyone in Ossett knew him, not just from Ossett Albion but for the Ingham Sports Shop on Station Road (which is now a barbers shop).

his son David played for Ossett Town in the 70's though he later spent many years at Albion, then had a few months back here as Wayne Day's assistant in 1994. Jack and his wife used to come to all the home games when Dave was with us, Dave left us to concentrate on running the Ingham Sports Shops here in Ossett and in Wakefield.

I'm sure there will be a minute's silence before Monday's match down there.
