new signings - Danny Frost and Liam Schofield from Ossett Albion, Bradley Kilner from Sheffield FC, Alex Peterson and Jack Siddall from Matlock Town and Stephen Wakefield from Frickley Athletic.

First win in 4 months today, 2-1 at Burscough. We're 5 points in front of Harrogate Railway, who have a game in hand.

finished 17th this season, actually an improvement on last season (finished 18th). A season to forget, all in all, but with a new manager, new players and an improvement in results since he took charge, grounds for optimism for next season hopefully.

after helping Ossett Town to reach the play off final last season and now reaching the 4th qualifying round of the FA Cup, losing after a replay to National League side Solihull Moors, Mick Norbury has moved on to Goole where he will be helping Karl Rose.

Grant Black resigned last Tuesday. I'm sure he will find a new club before long. see above for all his achievements with us over the last couple of years.

And no, I don't know why he resigned, but knowing Ossett Town, I daresay there will be some rumours (real or imagined) floating about.
