Grant Black appointed on Monday, former Matlock Town assistant manager. His assistant will be Steve Ridley, signed from Bottesford Town and a former team mate at Buxton. Also joining the coaching staff will be the legend himself, Mr Norbury. John Francis continues as reserve team and academy boss.

new signings - Danny Frost and Liam Schofield from Ossett Albion, Bradley Kilner from Sheffield FC, Alex Peterson and Jack Siddall from Matlock Town and Stephen Wakefield from Frickley Athletic.

First win in 4 months today, 2-1 at Burscough. We're 5 points in front of Harrogate Railway, who have a game in hand.

finished 17th this season, actually an improvement on last season (finished 18th). A season to forget, all in all, but with a new manager, new players and an improvement in results since he took charge, grounds for optimism for next season hopefully.
