Tony Jennings played for Ossett Town during the 1970's, he was also at Albion and played for a number of teams around Dewsbury, including Fearnside, one of the top Sunday sides of that era. Later he managed Overthorpe, winning the Wheatley cup a number of times (including a 7-2 win in the 1995 final over our reserves).
His team mates in that time with us included Andy Hardy, Shaun Brearley, Barry Lumb and David Brook. A recent photo of all of them with Tony appears in today's The Press.
tony died last Saturday after a heart attack, aged 64.
Funeral at St Paulinus next Friday (31st) at 10 am.
