Do you know who was the first team manager during the 85/86 season?

without being absolutely 100% sure but I think Dave Heeley was in charge in 1985-86. I know he was definitely in charge in the 1986-87 season before we appointed Micky Bullock in the summer of 1987. Trouble is I'm not sure when Brian Moran left and Dave Heeley took over. He had a daft nickname as well but I've forgotten what that was.

A couple of years ago, one of the local papers in Dewsbury published an old team photo from the 1970's for a team called Fearnside WMC ( think) and Dave Heeley and a few other Ossett Town (and Albion) players were in that team.

"Pelter". that was Dave Heeley's nickname. no idea why.

after he left Ossett Town he was Gordon Rayner's assistant at Guiseley and I think they were both at Bradford Park Avenue and Glossop North End in the early 90's after they left Guiseley.
