Darlington RA crashed out of the FA Cup in an eleven goal thriller at Brinkburn Road last night against South Shields .
The RA started badly when keeper Alex Kell conceded a soft goal when he failed to gather a right wing cross from Jonny Wightman, then Peter Kane flicked in a Lee Bell header for the second. Graham Whitehead pulled one back wit ha vicious inswinging free kick from the right, but Shields went 4-1 up by the 50th minute through Bell and Chris Feasey.
The RA hit back with two goals by Steve Allison to make it 4-3, but some poor defending at the other end let in Chris Feasey for 5-3. James Evison got another back for the RA, but Feasey made the game safe in the 90th minute, with Freddie Huscroft scoring for the RA in stoppage time
