another A G M , another two clubs resign,
this as usual will be about the cost of running a club in this league,
the F A and the League need to look again at ways of helping
reduce the financial burden , that must discourage a lot of north
west clubs from applying, I know yet another stockport based club are coming in
but they are a NEW club with NO ground of their own, and NO history, yet a
LONG ESTABLISHED club like Prestwich hays with their own ground were refused
admission, sounds like a recipe for disaster, then there is a club based around
80 miles away who may be forced on the league by the F A. adding yet more
cost on already struggling clubs time for a complete rethink.

It's quite simple really. Just abandon the whole thing and create AFC Counties of North West League. Might actually be able to secure a title sponsor that way!

Sad to see Wigan Robin Park resign, had some good times following them in recent seasons, reignited my enthusiasm for football having got disillusioned by the Premier League dominated world that is professional football.

Visited some great away grounds, met some cracking people and was lucky enough to take a few decent photos along the way, feel abit lost now for the 2015/16 season!

And does anyone wonder why this forum is dead with nonsense like the above posted?

I thought I heard somewhere that you'd secured yourself a job with Wigan Athletic? You could always try Ashton Athletic though, a lot of that team is currently the WRP from the treble season. But have to agree, disappointed about their demise, it was always a nice and accessible place to visit.

Ha! I wish, no, no opportunities at either Athletics both have very talented snappers in situ.
